    The staff is wonderful. The new president is awful. He doesn't care about the residents or the staff and is only concerned with making money. I have personally seen him talk to his staff like dogs. He has no business running a nursing home.

    My parents moved to an independent living apartment at Hillview a couple of years after my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Hillview was a welcome transition for my mother, his caretaker. Having meals prepared, other residents to socialize with, and group activities (especially singing) were invaluable to her and to our family. My father was moved to the memory unit a few weeks before he passed away - a couple of years after they moved in. My mother had already created friendships and Hillview is still her home. Hillview's staff continues to be very special to our family. We know our mother is safe and happy there, and she has help available whenever she may need it.
