    My friend is receiving long-term care there, and it seems to be a decent enough place. He has no complaints. They have redecorated and it looks cheerful and inviting. The staff seems to be kind. The nursing care he is receiving has been just fine.

    Right before my father-in-law entered this facility for rehab, I read all the bad reviews about The Woodlands. I came so close to pushing for him to go to a facility that had better reviews and recommendations from the nurses I talked to. I decided the reviews I had read sounded so bad they must be exaggerations to some degree. I wish more than anything in the world that I had trusted my instincts when I read all the terrible reviews of The Woodlands. My father-in-law went in for rehab to regain strength to walk and function in his home. Approximately a week later he passed away. When Woodlands finally sent him back to the hospital, he went into icu and passed away within 2 days. Two nurses and a technician commented that the state he was in when he entered the emergency room indicated neglect at The Woodlands. I can't say anything good or bad about the physical therapists, but I will say the medical side of this facility should be utterly ashamed of the job they did. There's no reason this should have devolved into a complete tragedy in less than two weeks. He was released from the hospital for rehab because his health was in order to enter rehab. He was NOT on his deathbed when he went to The Woodlands for rehab

    I didn't like anything about this place. Residents are not bring taken care of properly. Person was in there over a week sheets were never changed. It took asking multiple times to get anything done. When a resident asked for an oxygen tank and to get out of bed and for someone to walk with them was told hold on be right back and never came back. The residents family members take better care of them then the people that are being paid to do so. I could go on and on. NEVER go to this place ever. I am so sorry for the people that are stuck there.

    Never any clean towels or bedding. Food was tetrible and they didi not follow the diets. Never brought fresh water i even got it for her the day she wrnt in. Therapy is great here. Do not send your loved ones here.
