    The main picture I see when I search for this nursing home (Google) is not the actual facility. Not sure if it's innocently a facility called Hillcrest elsewhere, or nefariously Photoshopped? Pictures that show the adjacent highway are accurate. Use the 360 function to rotate and see the 'real' Hillcrest. The real Hillcrest is crowded and chaotic with no outdoor spaces for residents other than a small smoking area. 90% or more have psychiatric challenges and a large percentage are in wheelchairs, yet little has been done to adapt the facility, which is in disrepair and dirty. Residents are assisted to shower between 3AM and 2PM and get three slots/week. If you miss your slot, probably no shower until the next scheduled time. Food looks as if average meal cost is about $0.50, with mostly carbs and very limited fresh fruit or vegetables. I did meet several very nice staff members, and they have very tough jobs. Also on the plus side, Administrators took my brother in when no other facility would, but overall, I can't recommend this facility.

    This facility used to be pretty good. However, it has declined tremendously over the last two years. I'm hoping that there will be improvements made, to better care for the residents in the near future. If and when this happens, I will give another review.

    If zero stars were an option, I'd choose it. Terrible, filthy place and ghetto people. Cussed both me and my mom out for unnecessary reasons and they were smart asses when my mom asked for help getting her oxygen machine on. One aid openenly admitted to us that "all she had in her refrigerator was wine." Unless you want to be taken care of by hungover, rude people don't go here. They could care less about the residents in that facility.

    My dad has been treated so badly there. He's paralyzed from the chest down, had a stroke so he can barely speak, his right arm is basically dead and sits in bed all day, no exercise whatsoever. He's had what seems like thousands of bed sores and has fallen multiple times out of his bed. The last time he's fallen out of bed was November 1, 2016. He hit his head so hard that he's been having absent seizures and is literally out of his mind. He is still so young and did not deserve any of this. He's been on hospice and they have determined he only has a few days left. Please someone, anyone, help us shut this place down, no human being should be treated like this.

    This place is pure ghetto. Don't use this facility unless u have no other option. The food is decent and some of the staff try hard, but they just fall short of anything resembling quality medical/nursing care.
