Regency Care provided excellent care during my stay. I am so grateful for everything! The staff were kind, caring and friendly. I feel so much better now than when I first got there. Thank you!

Please if you love your elders, avoid Regency Care at all costs. I know of employees whom would not place there dog in there, much less there family member. Quite often, it is VERY understaffed, several facilities don't even have licensed social workers on staff, and most nurses portrayed as RN's are simply LPN's or medication people. If you wish to have your family member cared for in a 1:14 ratio, typical staffing it appears. As an employer, it is not safe for caregivers to work there. If you injure yourself or a resident injures you, then you are on your own. My mother hurt herself badly caring for residents there. Can no longer be a caregiver, and they staff based upon revenue compensation. So an Administrator will tell you whatever you wish to hear regarding the safety of your loved one, because they get bonuses on how many beds they fill. Our elders are not chump change. They have been reported to the state, and are in an active investigation whether they know it or not. ALL REGENCY CARE FACILITIES!!!!

Caring knowledgeable staff. Residents seem happy and are always joking with the staff and laughing. Very positive work environment.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
