    My aunt is a former resident of Luther Woods. For a long time, we loved it. The nursing staff was so caring and kind with only a few bad apples. Suzanne the Nursing Director was outstanding. So are the doctors who stop in. However, things went downhill near the end. I would no longer recommend the facility. The new nursing director (Nonny I believe) is just majorly incompetent. I've heard rumors she might be on her way out soon so if this is true that would be a positive. However another problem is the former owner also is no longer involved with the facility. The new owner is all about the bottom line and it's clear the morale is in the toilet since then. Many good nurses who took care of my aunt have left for other jobs. What I have heard is that the new owner is all about turning a profit and not really passionate about patient care. Giving it 2 stars strictly because of the many quality nurses and good people there. It's going downhill fast. Hope it bounces back for the many good folks still there.

    I was taken back by Luther Woods. The beauty, the organization, just everything. Until I went to the hospital a second time and was told I couldn't come back. This remarke that they have made has made it impossible for me to go to any order rehab. It angers me so much that a place could be so cold and scared of a person's asthma attacks. Thank you Luther Woods for screwing me over.

    My grandmother was here. Fantastic location, great people, wonderful rehab care. Her favorite spot was center courtyard gardens, great place to visit with her. They also have a Atrium with vaulted ceilings, skylight and view of gardens. Rooms are spacious and windows open! Surrounded by woods, rooms have great view and super large windows. People are wonderful, lots of activities for her, everyone was so caring and sensitive. Dining Hall is like a restaurant with cute waitresses and waiters. They encourage families to visit and enjoy food at very reasonable price. Luther woods is modern with touch screen computers on walls. If you need Nursing or Rehabilitative Care check it out. Care is exceptional. I would rate Luther Woods as 10+++.
