    My Dad just x-ferred here so he could be close to my sister. We are so thrilled with the staff. Made it so easy to relax and know he's safe / well. More to come in month or so.

    well, it was our first experience with a nursing home and I cant say it was a good one. My Mom was sent from the hospital to rehab and nursing care of wounds on her feet. She wasn't able to walk very well. Her first experience was when she rang for help to go to the bathroom, NO ONE came....ever! So she managed herself. Her feet were never even looked at for the first 4 or 5 days and by then one was infected. Everytime she asked if they were going to change the bandages, they said they'd be right back, and then never came back. Her bandages were changed 4 maybe 5 times in 12 days...When we finally were visiting when the bandages were being changed and saw how bad it was, we contacted the Dr. and he immediately sent her back to the hospital. The little lady in her room wasn't able to feed herself. Her tray would sit till long after it was cold before someone would come in to feed her and Mom saw the utensil make its way to the mouth of the staff! REALLY - are all nursing homes like this?????
