    My father was admitted here about a year ago and had a horrible experience - mice running around, nurses who were not helpful and offered wrong medication at times. Recently my mother's cancer got worse and after time in the hospital we had to transfer her to a rehab center. Despite our arguing my mother wanted to go to St. Monica's. Over the past month I've witnessed nurses being rude, dismissive, degrading and overall horrible to my mother. A few days ago my mother called complaining of dizziness and weakness. I called her oncologist who suggested we get the nurses to get her to the hospital. I called and was told they would "look into it" however as precaution I sent my brother down to speak to them face to face. They told him it was just them going "too hard on the meds" and she was fine. That day she went to her radiology appt and the doctors sent her to the ER where she was then admitted to the ICU. I am furious they didn't listen to our concerns or the doctors orders. When I called to speak to someone I left two voicemail and even asked to have someone call me via the website yet no one has contacted me. I would rather drive 50 miles to a good rehab I know would properly care for my mother then send her back here. Don't ever consider this place.

    I would not put a dead animal in this place for care let alone any living thing my mom had an amputation and was there about 3 weeks she gained several bed sores thrush mouth not being fed urinary trac infection was left in diapers on regular basis after i went to many CNA as well as higher staff members I requested on several occasions to speak with doctor he just seem to always leave right before or never seem to show up after 3 to 6 hours of waiting I strongly feel this faculty should be closed I have been told reports were made nothing was supposed to found try to do a check when they are not aware you are coming or better yet put yourself in there under false sickness see how your treated final suggestion to any one considering putting a loved one here DON'T!!! I also suggest you take photos of anything that seems wrong
