OMG in SHOCK!!! My family placed my Grandfather there on station 6, within 1 week, a total nightmare was discovered there. They bring a large number to the center where the nurses station is and they sit there for hours. Even though they can't help it, with that number of wheel chairs in the way, it prevents many to manuver their way to the dining area, their rooms etc. Second, where is the staff?? 1 or 2 aides oh yeah that's the case there. Activities, well you better be able to hear and know when they take place cause none of the staff goes to the room to invite residents to participate. I want to know where the damn director of that place because he or she must be blind to the fact of how crappy that facility is. I wouldn't let my dog stay there over night. What a disgrace........

My grandmother was there for rehab on station 4. The nurses and therapists were always very nice to my grandmother and accommodating to the rest of the family. Would definitely recommend!

I have had several family members at this facility and have never seen a more caring and loving staff! Couldn't ask for a better experience!

This place is ridiculous my 71 year old grandpa is there for rehab after having 2 strokes. They do not take care of him like they are supposed to. He wasn't breathing right today and it took 45 min for a nurse to come in and check on him then they proceeded to say oh I'm sorry we can't send him to the ER until we get permission from the doctor. My aunt came in today and he was asleep with food still in his mouth because they laid him in bed while he was still eating. We believe they give him sleeping meds all the time so he will sleep so they don't have to deal with him. If anyone knows who I can file a complaint with to either shut this place down or make them do their job please let me know.

Currently work here. I would not recommend bringing your loved ones here. There is lack of supervision from the supervisors and certain caregivers get away with patient abuse and neglect. I see it first hand every day and reporting it does no good. I continue to work here only bc I cannot find another job.

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
Nhc Healthcare - Anderson has not received any fines, complaints, or inspection problems in the last 3 years.
