    This place is awful my mother could've been dead if I hadn't arrive within minutes to check on her. Some staff member are helpful(about 10%) and 90% are useless. Call bells are going off and staff members just sit and play on their cellphone.......STAY AWAY...if I could give them a 1/2 star, i would.

    Thank you NHC Charleston for caring for my Mother-n-law. I appreciate your attention to detail. The staff has comforted Mama as well as my fears. Physical therapy is going great. I feel welcome to help Mama and myself to juice, fruit, coffee and even ice cream. Staff have introduced themselves and recognized that we are a large family. One CNA said 'now I met Marlene so are you Maryhelen?' This was correct and pleasing to me. Fondly, Maryhelen Britt

    Could not ask for a better experience. Most helpful staff and family like atmosphere. Patients always look healthy and happy. No smells or problems. Simply the best care I have ever experienced.

    This place is the real deal. The staff is always energetic, sympathetic and as friendly as could possibly be. When my grandfather was in their facility, they took great care of him. Very attentive. The food is ridiculously DELICIOUS. I can't even begin to describe it. It's $5 for a guest to eat, but they feed you a full course, dessert & all. They did just undergo a renovation & it looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend this facility to those looking for rehab/skilled nursing care for their loved ones.

    Got roaches? If not, you can pick up a gross of dead ones in my mom's room. Room is dirty, unswept in days, unfinished drywall patches, a staff that will respond in no less than an hour! Just like paradise. Want pictures? I got 'em. Disgusting.
