    My mother was taken in from GMH. She had heart valve replaced and has Renal Kidney disease! I only seen 2 RN's and neither have no compassion, no interest in well being, and don't believe they finished RN training!!# The CNA's are a joke!! The most work they do is finding a place to sit down with their " CELL PHONE". If you ask for help with your loved one, it just pisses them off! My mother's needs were not met! She is in Intensive Care at Spartanburg Regional. Bpap was never put on so CO2 built in her blood. She is on Cardiac and No Sodium Diet! Everyone gets the same food! I spoke to the admid and nurse managers but fell on deaf ears! When ambulance attendants came in for mother they ask for her stats! They just stood there like a blinded deer! I spoke up...they don't do stats! So do not put your family in this place!!

    Great for the most part, but there are definitely some bad eggs here. My grandfather spent several months in Magnolia Place and overall, I feel he was treated very well. Most of the nurses here take very good care of their patients, and are very receptive to both medical and non-medical needs. They try to chat with patients and keep them in good spirits. I never once suspected any sort of malpractice or neglect, and stopped in numerous times with no prior warning to find everything in order and properly handled. The only problem I have with Magnolia Place is the occasional rude or careless nurse. Typically, they get weeded out pretty quickly from the otherwise stellar staff here. Just be aware that staff changes do occur, and sometimes new hires just don't have the bedside manner and care that is required at a nursing home. If you encounter such an employee, waste no time reporting it to management to make sure residents here receive the care they deserve.
