    I had the opportunity to test a new service being implemented by COAH called Doxyme webchat. It is videoconferencing that allows remote family members to have Care meetings and visit with their loved ones. I talk to my mother frequently on the phone, but being able to see her (and for her to see me as well) was wonderful. I always like "in person" Care meetings better than phone calls. This was almost like being in the room. I could see who is speaking and didn't have to just try to recognize the voice.

    My father was a patient at COAH for four months and during that time he was treated with care and the employees always responded to our requests and concerns. When his condition worsened, they were very supportive and caring during this very difficult time. When he passed away, the on duty nurse cried with me and gave me a hug.
