    My experience with Mapplewood in Jackson, TN has been very stressful, unpleasant, and unacceptable. There is a serious problem with manipulation and conniving based upon my experiences with one of the charge nurses! My compliant is with the nurse caring for my family and the changes I had to go through to rectify this horrendous situation and the immediate financial issue for the cancellation of a non- refundable airline ticket. To be honest, the airline ticket, which I could care less, is not a factor, but it was mentioned to demonstrate another consequence of her problematic behavior! In my opinion, this nurse intentionally caused strive, dissension, confusion, and stress among my family! Additionally, the circumstances she created remained unresolved after numerous attempts to get this manner resolved. Suddenly the nurse who had once been helpful on the day shift became abrasive and rude!!!!! Erroneous information was tagged on my mother's chart to prevent me from being able to obtain information regarding her condition. This nurse intentionally misrepresented the truth to avoid being questioned and responding to reasonable requests that were in the scope of her job responsibilities and duties. This nurse hung up the phone in my face after I asked her why she misrepresented the truth to both me and my brother! Based upon my experiences, this is the last place I would recommend. The hospital may appear to be the best from outwardly experiences, but it is definitely not what it appears to be! This experience has left me extremely distraught and troubled!!!! It has given my brother the feeling that I probably don't want to have anything to do with him, which is absolutely not true. This woman has been nothing but a source of heartache and pain for me and my brother as we deal with my mother's health. I find this woman to be despicable and as a result, I find Maplewood a place where I never, ever would want a member of my family or anyone else's family to be!
