    Caring environment with excellent attention to detail. My wife stayed there for a short period and ever time I came too visit, I felt that she was well cared for. Will use Walnut Hills again...Thank You.

    There are some very caring nurses and therapists at this facility, but perhaps the overall care has declined in recent years. In my father's experience, for a short term (5 week stay), he was often not showered, and he sustained many falls. He was not sent to the hospital when needed until a significant event occurred. Also communication with staff was very poor, there was no voicemail for anyone on staff and at times calls went unreturned. We eventually transferred him to another nursing center.

    The staff here were compassionate and accommodating. They get the residents up and dressed every day. There is a sense of community; people visit each other. It is clean and recently painted. There are not a lot of frills, but the people make the place.

    Having visited as a volunteer, both the residents and the staff have been so kind and caring. They really show you the true meaning of love and peace. The facility itself is clean and has a feeling that makes me feel at home. The residents there seem so happy, and the staff treat them like family. The whole facility, in fact, is like one big family. I recommend it highly for anyone searching for a place for their family member.
