    My Grandfather is a patient at this facility and his care has been great. The staff seem to care about the people who live there like they are family. No place is going to be perfect, and I have been around quite a few Skilled Nursing Homes and know it can be very difficult at times. The residents there seem to get along with staff well, and I here a lot of good things from the other patients there. I give them four stars only because there is always room for improvement.

    Our friend is in hospice care here. The nurses and staff are friendly and appear to be doing their jobs well. The food is disgusting, the air conditioning barely works. The facility badly needs repair and restoration. Very sad to walk in to. I think the state of Texas can do better than this. No one would want to come here or leave family here if they could afford not to.

    The staff cares for the most part. They are understaffed. 30-40 patients to every nurse. That number was given to me by the assistant director. There is nothing to do. They seem to focus on meals. The food sucks. It's horrible. It's usually cold when we get it. Patients have no problem cussing out staff. The front waiting area is gorgeous but it's like they say it's like putting lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig! Supplies are limited. There are staff that seem to have given up caring or trying. If you ask for a pain med you will most likely ask av a in and again. It really is a good place we to put people so they can die a slow death .

    Could be better, could be worse. My mother in law is there for rehab and has really improved greatly. She loves the CNAs as they are very sweet to her. The food is bad though and the RN always has too many patients to handle. She has to usually wait a long time for pain or nausea meds. It's pretty clean for the most part though and some of the employees are pretty nice.
