    Horrible uneducated staff, BUT SOME ARE GREAT! , the fact that we have to remind the staff every time we visit ( which is twice a day!) That they haven't given my mother her medicine (she has advanced pancreatic cancer) ( incredible pain!) plus medicine for her issues from cancer! They don't give it to her and they are all time sensitive and need to be administered! Its her life! We are met with only attitude and excuses! Shift change, short staffed, they thought they were already given.... they have never once read the med chart, only when we tell them to check! Only then they realize that she had gone without! Now let me tell you about diaper changes! Every time we have gotten here she has been laying in a soiled diaper for hours! She now has bed soars! I have photographs! The majority of the patients are Geriatric and not of sound mind. I actually don't see family members here for them ever. They don't have a voice to complain. But my mother and we her family do , as soon as we receive her special equipment ( any day now) she will be home with us. This place ..... is horrific.

    It has come a long way from where it was like before but I feel that the residents there should be treated with respect and more carefully since their skin is more delicate. I have been going to see my mom there and have observed how they treat people and you have some good people working there but you have some that shouldn't be there at all. There is one guy that always seems to be busy when you ask him to do something for my mom and tells me he will get to it but has plenty of time talking and flirting with the girls. Mom has problems when it's time for her bath because no one wants to help take her a bath. She has gone days without one because there was no one to help. They need to hire more people that actually care for the patients not just a paycheck. The food is another thing I don't agree with if the patients are paying to live there they should be able to get food they like not the same thing over and over just with something different. They tell you to mark everything with their names but that does no good because things seem to disappear from their rooms. They have complain cards but that does no good to fell out because they keep changing directors so what seems to be there problem? There are a lot of people (patients) who are afraid to speak up because of the way they get treated some one who cares needs to talk to each and every patient in there to see how well they are treated and assure them they won't be no retaliation if they speak. I feel that they should all be treated like they are the employees parents and they should be cherished, love and make them feel like they are a happy family. They should have a great life in there just like they would have a great life elsewhere. As you already know that several have gone to a better place already so please make it a better place and hiring people who take their job seriously about caring for others. My favorite quote is (What goes around comes around) which means treat others as you would like to be treated. God watches everything you do so with that said I hope you make more changes for my next visit so I can come back and review again?
