    Not a place I would ever want to send a family member. Not recommended!

    My mother was placed here on June 21st for rehabilitation. This place neglected her care and after being there for 12 days she developed huge sores under both breast with one of her breast sticking to her stomach and causing a sore to the stomach and also a pressure wound to her bottom. She has horrific pressure wounds to both her heels. In 12 days she had 2 showers with the caretaker noticing the galding to her body and pointing it out to other staff members but no treatment such as powder or cream was applied. They kept pillow cases under her stomach to help with the sweat. She was taken to the emergency room on July 3rd and upon arrival she had a diaper on and the pillow cases shoved under her stomach which were all covered in urine and feces. It was the most disgusting site to witness and the ER nurses and paramedics thought so as well. She stayed 3 days in Gainesville hospital then transferred to Denton Integrity from July 6th-25th for acute wound care. On July 25th I had her transferred to Senior Care Decatur for rehabilitation where she is currently still at, and durung this stay so far she has been sent to Decatur hospital 3 times. She has congestive heart failure, afib, and she is a diabetic who can't seem to get over the infection in her left foot due to the pressure sores to her feet which were caused from leaving her sitting in a wheel chair with her heels on the floor. I really don't think my mother will ever get to go home again thanks to this place. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to ever go to this place but if you send your love one there you must go everyday, check their body, make certain they get bathed, and certainly make sure they are not left just sitting in a wheel chair all day. My mother had begged her nurse to put her to bed on July 2 but she wouldn't do it, just left her in that wheel chair. These people basically stole my mother's future
