Quentin Mease Community Hospital was surprisingly quiet. The location, parking, and checking in at the front desk is easy peasy. I'm feeling physically cruddy, and my PCP had placed an EMG test for me months prior. Now, for three weeks every day, I called and even had the HHS attempt to call for me, and we all failed. So I accepted the date and made arrangements regarding school so that I could make it for this chosen date. I'm feeling super cruddy physically, but I'm in high spirits so whatever. I proceed towards the EMG department and greet the receptionist, and she was completely oblivious to why I was there and obnoxiously snippy, which caused my sprightly demeanor to become frank with an edge of sharpness, she quickly figured out I ain't playin no games. I shan't disclose her name, but I've finally come face to face with the woman who neglected to pick up all calls as well as the HHS departments for three weeks, and now that I was faced to face I finally understood why. She tried to make small talk and butter me up, but I'd already seen her true nature behind this poor facade. She needs to be elsewhere and not working here because she's ruining the EMG Department's administration. Next, the waiting area is tiny- you can seat literally only five people. I took my seat, realizing that this man across from me had finished smoking outside (and would go out again for another smoke), so I had to take a few puffs of my inhaler and put a mask on because of his nicotine addiction, so selfish. After thirty minutes my name was called upon by a Resident, who did a great job and was cordial. His attending, my physician is the cherry on top of my Sundae. Despite provocating my muscles and nerves by poking and probing me (painful); through the entire process, she was remarkably nurturing and loving towards me. She was able to easily instruct her Resident, while multitasking the tests on me. Her innate motherly demeanor towards me neutralizes the awfulness of the receptionist. I came to get an EMG/NCS done, and it was overall a pleasant experience because of my Doctor and her Resident. Also, the facility is clean despite it looking grungy and old.

Staff are nice and clinic are good for low income. But after my knee miniscus surgery my phisical thrapist give me overload exercise like deep squat with 30 lbs and leg extention over 20 lbs and some other heavy exercise that was causing me much pain , I kept telling her that this exercise are much bothering me, she was insisting that this is normal and you should do it even every day at home , i had to beleive her caze he was saying it is normal, since this kind of exercise my knee was wasted . Now it is 9 months after surgery Im not able to drive and working 3 days a week with sharp and burning pain. Dr did several tests and mri on my knee and back still not found the reason of pain . I completly realized that overload phisi...thrapy by phisical thrapist guy caused me this issue because one month after surgery before thrapy my knee was painless.

I personally don't think he needs a sitter, it's not like he's threatening to fall, he can't get up by himself. Nor does he have any tubes or anything. If he needs something then he can call the nurse, and besides that they need to check on their patients Randomly anyways. I am sick of them @ Quentin Mease making demands b/c they don't want to do their Jobs - they are worthless caregivers.

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
Quentin Mease Community Hospital has not received any fines, complaints, or inspection problems in the last 3 years.
