    **WARNING** DECEPTIVELY CLEAN** Clean is the only thing people see. If it looks too good to be true? ONE business manager managing 8 facilities? Why?? Beautiful place to die. That's what is happening with my family as we are moving forward and not looking back at this horrible facility in anyone's future. 1) Bad bed side manors by 80% of ALL staff. 2) 11 to 1 is a really poor ratio and at night it's more realistic to say 20 to 1 patients to staff. 3) Lack of patients content care has caused 3 UTI'S last of which was let go so long with the wrong antibiotics she developed sepsis (blood poisoning) now however she's safe at the hospital. Thank God! I could go on but nobody reads this far anyway. ;-) I pray this review is helpful as its only my opinion based on our personal experience.

    Wish I could give The Villages a less than zero rating. My father was here for 11 weeks for rehab and it was the worst care I could imagine. Someone had to stay with him almost around the clock to make sure he was taken care of and received meals. There was never enough staff to provide decent level of care and very few that even tried. Do not consider this for anyone.

    Very inconsistent level of care. Good one week, terrible the next. Food never on time and cold when it arrives. They even serve it off a hot cart and its still cold. The staff is inconsistent as well. Several good, several bad. Trying to use hair salon is like playing craps. You never know. When you do find a nice, friendly staff member, they run them off. I spoke with several higher ups in the time my mother was a resident there, and of course they say all the right things, but never follow through. Yes, a very pleasing to the eye kind of place, but once you are in, you see the truth. Not pleased at all with the overall care this facility promises.

    This place is a joke.. Staff is not helpful at all.. Once you are in they forget about you... we have had lots of problem with nurses and cafeteria help. My mother cries to come home she has fallen over 7 times until they moved her to another wing. They haven't taken her to her doctor appointments. we are looking for other places. her bill keeps coming higher and higher. Cant get anyone to call or talk in person. Dont bring your loved one here. I thought it was great at first now the biggest mistake of my life..
