    My father had a stroke and recovered at Grace Care Center of Katy. I truly can't say enough great things about his care while there! They were so patient with him, but pushed him when he needed it. I never once saw anything that would cause me to be upset- and I visited him every day. My advice to anyone who has a loved one in a rehab is to be an advocate for them. Ask questions and make sure you get answers. Also, show the people who are caring for your loved one appreciation! A little love goes a long way!

    Terrible place!! Residents are not properly cared for. Nursing staff careless about residents and don't do their job the right way! Business office manager NOT A NICE PERSON. I would definitely re think of putting a loved one in that nursing home.

    This place is terrible!! Do Not Bring your family here!! Nurses don't care about the residents. As a former long time worker I do not recommend working here. They don't appreciate you, and they have their preference in workers. They make you do all theses relias courses online that are each 1 hour long and if you dont complete them they will fire you, whivh isn't fair at all. They are all two face especially the human resources, Stephanie, she will act all nice and pleasant in the interview but after that her true colors show. I really do not recommend this place! Any other place would be better than here, trust me you will regret working here or having your family member stay here.

    The nurses have very little compassion. The place is beautiful and smells great.. that's about it. The rehab part is fine, but after that don't expect anyone to do other than the bare minimum for your family member. I am not impressed at all. My father is at another place in town and it is night and day compared to this place! You have to stay on top of this staff.. they just don't care.

    Having been a prior patient at Grace Care, I thought transferring my elderly mother here was my best option. I'm extremely unimpressed with the care she received during her stay. The therapists and PA were great and that's about it, regarding her care. Mom developed a bad infection in her legs and had to be re-admitted to the hospital and she remains a patient there, one week later. Obviously, she was not cared for properly. You need to stay on top of things and inform the nursing staff of ANY changes. The worst thing, I was on the phone with the wound nurse and overhead another nurse telling her, "Don't tell her that!!" I was never given written notification that my mother had maxed/plateaued her stay. I received a call from the Front Desk, informing my mother's belongings were left up front! The same chef is there from yrs. ago and I do not understand how the food can be presented to the residents. It looks disgusting and smells even worse. Several residents in the dining area had the same complaints. He needs to go!! There has been quite a turnover in staff and I certainly can see why.
