    I had the opportunity to place my mother Gladys B. in pilot point care center, last month 12/2013, i was a, apprenhensive cause it was 42 miles from my home in lewisville, texas. Turned out to be the best move i have ever made for my mother. our previous skilled nursing facility in lewisville, texas - was cold, indifferent and my mother was not doing good there, she was complaining about her treatment. after going to pilot point care, under the direction, of Art Shields, and her lovely staff, mom has turned around 180 degrees, from what i was being told she was doing at the other facility. It is fantastic, Mom is calm, and enjoys the facility, so much more, and it takes lots of the stress off me, where i can be more productive with my company. even though this is the oldest facility in denton county, it is by no means old in it's caring for individuals at their center. these are superb, and caring employees that are a joy to talk with and do business with, and Art Shields is a GODSEND, and i love her and her staff very much. If you did not know pilot point care center is rated 42nd in the nation with us news and world report. my family is blessed to have found this facility, and mom has prospered in her attitude and happiness, which i have not seen in a long time, at her last place of residence. thank you pilot point care center, and Art shields we love you all william e burk
