    The nurses and CNA'S were wonderful. My only major complaint was that my meds were not ready for me when I got to Chandler. This is a communication problem between hospital and SNF. If you will be placing your lived one there, insist that they move your loved one early in the day. It all comes down to $$, whoever keeps the person the longest gets the $$. If I had been medicated right before I left the hospital to be placed at Chandler, my first day would not have been so miserable but after I was able to get everything straightened out, my experience was ok to great. You can trust that your loved ones items will not be stolen. I have heard patients taken items from their roommates but sometimes the patient might have a disability that might come into play but for the most part I would say the staff is trustworthy. This is a big deal for me because the place I was BEFORE I had items taken from me twice when I had been placed in the hospital. My mom who is 73 has told me if we should ever have to put her in a SNF, or nursing home she would like this place. I would go back there and that is saying alot if you have any idea of what I have gone through (Aug -November, 2016).if you want to read of my horrific experience, look up Las Colinas. Never put your loved one there unless you plan on being with them everyday.

    I've worked with the team at Chandler Estate on several projects. Both the staff and the residents were wonderful to work with. The residents seemed to truly enjoy their lives there.

    Very understaffed never can be an in an out they ask you to call to get your parent read, mind you nobody will answer the phone, for a day pass and when you show up you still have to wait over an hour only for meds then they assume everyone is a nurse and should know how to adminiter the meds very difficult staff to try to work with and even though this has been addressed with administration nothing will change im so sorry mom

    I suffer the extreme misfortune of living in the apartment complex next to this atrocity of humanity. I've worked in assisted living facilities and am 100% sure the negative reviews are accurate, based on the utter disregard for the community surrounding this "establishment". For one, I am a working student and single mother to a small child. I have lived next to this place for approximately 60 days. 6 out of 7 days of the week, they insist upon paying to have a leaf blower blasting through their property at decibels capable of disrupting the sleep of the residents of Hell itself, let alone myself and my child. I've complained 5 days in a row through various outlets. That money could be used to hire better caregivers, as working for $8/hr does NOT render compassionate care for the elderly. How do I know your caregivers DON'T care? They constantly seek refuge on the stairs of my apartment complex to hide out and smoke cigarettes. Caseworkers park in our parking lot, too. That God awful leaf blower woke up myself and my child yet again today after continuous complaints. I have every intention to sue this "establishment" for the series of migraines I've suffered in the weeks since having my life, work, and education drastically impacted in a horrible, miserable manner by making the painstakingly awful decision to live next to such a poor excuse of a business.
