    It has been a nightmare. I would not have given any stars. I had to give one star to be able to post this. I will sum it up to this. The staffs inability to communicate not only amongest themselves but as well as with the doctors, the tennants and their family members makes me believe we need to re evaluate our standards for nursing homes. The staff is very impersonable, and seems to be lacking complete knowlege of policy and procedures. The irresponsible actions of the employes at Nesbit and total lack of compassion for another human being is absolutely heart breaking. They need to make sure the staff is not only trained to handle all medical and non medical needs that are neccesary but staff members that will have compassion for their patients .When a patient is injured due to their negligence it might be more assuring to the family if someone, anyone knew what may have happened to their loved one. Nesbit also needs to find some employees not afraid to use a broom or mop. The place smells horrible every time I have been to visit. In my opinion which is based on what I have seen and how I have been treated, I would not suggest letting your loved one stay at Nesbit unless it was the Only place available and even then I would still be trying to get them moved on a daily basis. You do not have listen to my opinion but I tell you this my mother was sent back to Nesbit from hospital 7 days sooner then what we were told. We did not want her to return and are trying deperately to get her moved. She cries everyday to get out of there. My mother who was always happy now cries and has cried nearly everyday since the 23rd of December 2016. Two days before not only Christmas but also her birthday when she had to have her leg removed from an infection that devoloped as a result from the medical emegency surgery she had to have in November that occured when she fell in the shower while being assisted by a Nesbit staff member. Great Assistance? Whats you opinion? Do you want your loved one to stay here? This is my expierence nd opinion but I am sure my mothers and other family members are very similliar to mine.

    Worst experience ever. It's a surprise that all their residents aren't dead yet. They knew days in advance that my mother in law was to be transferred over and was even told hours in advance the exact time she would arrive. When we get her checked in, her room wasn't ready. The TV wasn't plugged in and set up. She had nothing to do but stare at the wall. And her bathroom looked and smelled like it hasn't been cleaned in 3 weeks and the toilet didn't even flush right. All her medications were set up prior to arrival, but when it came time to take them, they said she wasn't approved. And the next morning she still didn't get her 6:00am or even breakfast till 9:30. Their excuse was "we didn't know you were here" Needless to say, we signed her out AMA. Unless you want your to die in a hurry, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
