    Although short staffed it is a wonderful place where every staff member cares about the well being of the residents! The C.N.As are always helpful and taking care of every need.

    My mother in law was in this nursing home for a few months before she passed away. She was never mistreated but she was not turned enough and developed sores on her feet. She was often wet when I came to visit and once wondered out of the faculty, crossed a train track and was found by her preacher who just happen to see her walking down the road.

    My Mother was supposed to be watched, she wasn't. Worse place ever. It wasn't my choice to put her there.

    Worst possible place to send anyone you care about. They are neglectful in ever aspect. Need to use the bathroom? Too bad, they tell you to go in the bed. Need your bed changed? Too bad, it's getting left for the next shift. Cold? Your problem and well fired housekeeping if they give you an extra blanket. You'll eat when someone decides you should be hungry. You won't be allowed to go on trips out, even if they say you can. You will not be allowed to come out of your room unless someone comes to get you, which happens rarely. The food is disgusting and the ice machine is full of mold. You won't live more than a couple months here. If you have a family member you're tired of go for it.

    My mother was in there a few years ago, and they let the oxygen run out. She ended up back in the hospital with pneumonia. She never recovered.
