    I am a Registered Nurse with more than 25 years experience. I feel that because of this I have a trained eye and can fairly evaluate the experience we had when our mother was in this facility. The nursing care and case management departments were very poor to non-existent and the balance billing practices for this facility were unethical. If you are considering a place for your loved one move on past Rocky Mountain Care.

    The first two days, the staff seemed attentive to Mom, although we would ask for certain things for her and they always had an excuse why things were delayed. We asked daily for a remote for her TV, but she did not receive one until the day before she left. The staff chose to disable her bed alarm when we visited, stating they would able it again at night. This did not happen. Mom was taken in an ambulance from this facility after falling in her room. When we returned the next day to pick up her belongings, we found someone from the cleaning crew in her room, throwing her items in bags. Her items were soaked in mouthwash since they had failed to secure the lid before putting in the bag. I think the most uncaring thing about this facility was the fact that not one person there asked about my Mom's condition after being loaded into an ambulance the night before. We would discourage anyone from using this facility for a total lack of caring and compassion.

    This is a beautiful facility. The staff is very attentive and great with residents. Rehab is one of the best in the area.

    A year ago today I was in a very bad wreck and without the staff at rocky Mountain I would not be here today. ..at rocky Mountain care there are some true hero's they don't just do there job they go way above that they actually care amazing people
