    Very pleased with the personal care and attention our family members received at Burke Nursing and Rehab Center. I have visited there many times and interacted with most of therapists, nursing staff and administration. I am a health care professional which makes me more critical and more understanding of the nursing and rehab environment. My mother-in-law was in rehab at two other centers, neither of which came close to the quality of care and rehabilitation offered at Burke.

    We had an excellent experience at Burke Health & Rehabilitation Center. My father (85 yrs old) spent almost three weeks at Burke Rehabilitation. He was treated with respect and dignity. I can't say enough about the staff! The nursing and technical staff were attentive and engaged with him each day. The sitter was awesome and kept my dad laughing and helped him get through some tough evenings. The physical/occupational and speech therapists were fantastic. They were friendly and dedicated to my father's physical and mental improvement. He made significant improvement under their care. We wanted to keep him at Burke Rehabilitation longer but wound up loosing our fight with Medicare and United Health Insurance (that's another story). I also want to give a shout out to the admin staff as well. Discharge planning were outstanding, helping us get my father's home care set up and find a good quality facility that would take his insurance. Overall, Burke Health and Rehabilitation was caring, professional and helped my dad transition from the hospital to coming home to his family. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a local, more personal rehabilitation facility.

    First let me say how surprised I am to see negative reviews on Burke. My family and I had the opposite of a negative experience. My Grandmother was admitted after sustaining a fall resulting in multiple rib fractures. As this was my families first time dealing with this type of experience we did not know what to expect. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed right in and made to feel we chose the right facility, trust me there are a lot of choices out there. The gym is first class, it is large with lots of equipment and overall has a very positive vibe. My Grandmother worked with two primary therapist and they both were outstanding. Caroline my Grandmothers Physical therapist took the time to get to know my Grandmother as a person and that really helped my Grandmother in her day to day therapy. The nursing team was so caring and went above and beyond to answer all our questions and help us understand the process. Her nurse Katy has been employed at Burke for 20 plus years and that alone speaks volumes about Burke as a facility. We also found it very comforting that not only was my Grandmothers Dr. on site two to three days a week but that his nurse practitioner was on site and always available it seemed like everyday. If you or one of your loved ones needs rehab I encourage you to go to Burke you will not be disappointed.

    The minute you walk into this place it's hard not to be blown away by the friendly faces and the beautiful facility. The rooms are all spotless, and you can tell the staff puts a lot of pride in keeping it clean. The rehab staff are incredibly knowledgable and caring, and they truly work miracles. I was so impressed by how accommodating the dietary team was, and they really make a tremendous effort to make everyone happy and healthy. There is not only an emphasis on getting better and going home, but on improving your overall quality of life. I would highly and honestly recommend this facility to any of my loved ones.

    If I could give Burke a 10 star I would! The therapy and nursing staff are incredible! They really work with you on your individual needs and get you up and back to normal in no time! Plus they have a better gym then most gyms I've ever been in! If you or loved one needs rehab go to Burke!!!
