    Appears to be a very caring, well connected community. Particularly beneficial features is access to a pool, and multiple gardens.

    We lived in two other retirement communities before moving to the Warm Beach Senior Community in 2000. We wanted a community that was warm and caring, supportive and yes, fun. We didn't want to be entertained and fed while I waited to die. We wanted an End of Life Adventure!. That's what is available at Warm Beach. Staff and residents have become extended family. Although it is connected with the Free Methodist Church, not being of that faith has never been an issue. Because is is non-profit, meaningful volunteering is allowed. Not required, available. All kinds of opportunities abound and as a result we have felt useful. Our take is that supports healthy and happy longevity. I also love the diversity of housing from grand to low income and the amenities we all share no matter where we are on the economic scale. My husbands passed on at the age of 101. When he needed a nursing facility, I was able to visit him every day even though I no longer drive. He was just across the parking lot. And the many friends he made here were able to maintain their friendship with him, as well! This is unique and is called a Continuous Care Facility. We have towering everygreens and walking paths and trails. The time to move here is when you don't 'need' to. That's what we did! Come see!
