    My Father is at Manor Care. The staff are caring and very nice. They take very good care of him considering all the patients they have to take care of. We go out a few times a week and help Dad with some hygiene needs like his finger nails etc... but they do a great job! They staff or Doctors are very good about calling and keeping me up to date about his care. We are very pleased. Very clean! My Dad likes the food. We had thanksgiving with him and it was Delicious!

    Only child here, so no siblings to split shifts with to watch my only parent on what could potentially be her death bed. I was able to sleep and rest yesterday knowing mom was taken care of! That says it all! Plus caring staff, amazing food and no 'hospital smell'. Can't recommend enough for piece of mind and a chance to rest for you.

    The food and cleaning service staff were friendly and adequate; unfortunately, the reason my mom checked into Manorcare was for nursing after back surgery so that she could return to walking with the help of professionals. She was told all records and medicines would be available when she checked in; however, the start of nursing care was delayed by almost 8 hours after she checked in. For reference, she was supposed to receive pain medicines and icing of the surgery area every 4 hours. Even after she was properly checked in, the health care was continually late and inadequate. She had to constantly call for pain medicines and even after calling for them, she would receive them up to hours late. She only received the icing treatment once and no one checked to ensure her body functions were back on track.The experience at Manorcare was very stressful and painful for mom and I would not recommend this facility to anyone unless they did not need nursing or health care services.

    I thought this place was going to be great for my mother after she had surgery. The surgery went great, she had a fachiotomy on the lower leg to help with the swelling. We thought healing was going to be super easy... well with the horrible wound care and the lack of care and attention that you would assume you get there... the infection and wound got so bad, my mother's leg had to be amputated. I would not recommend this place to care for anyone!!!

    My grandmother is currently receiving care here. She told me how nice the place looked, how comfortable she and her daughter are and how pleasant the staff has been to them. For myself, whenever I needed to speak to someone at the front desk, they have always been very friendly and accommodating. Considering I live on the opposite coast, this is very comforting to me, knowing she is in such good care.
