Stayed here-staff is GREAT. The therapy is very well set up and I would recommend the place. Glad my family chose it or I most likely wouldn't be where I am now. Thanks New Glarus Home!

I would give it less stars if I could! This place is a joke! They treat the residents like prisoners! They allow Male sex offenders to live here, and they are not monitored 100% of the time like the should be!! They also dont like to give meds to diabetics like they are supposed to, dont want to shower the residents on a regular basis either! They also think they are above the law, and can control who is allowed to visit/not visit! Like to try to threaten with the police! I would NOT REPEAT NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY HERE!!!

We recently had to put our love one in this beautiful newly remodeled facility. They have been great with updating us when necessary and listening to our requests. Staff really treat your love one with respect as if it was there love one. We are so very happy that we chose New Glarus Home. Thank you again to everyone for the great care!

We were very satisfied with the quality of care. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I would be comfortable sending my loved ones here if they required rehab or other nursing care.

The staff here is so welcoming and super accommodating. I have never been inside. I had to crash in there parking lot one night. I thought for sure we were going to get kicked out of there parking lot. On the contrary, the staff checked on us to see if we needed food or water.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
