    If you Love the person you are considering putting in this facility DO NOT do it. Totally under staffed and the people who are there do not do their jobs. Seriously any Doctor that admits your love one here should lose their license to practice medicine. All the bad comments that are listed on here are totally true and why someone hasn't shut this horrible place down is unbelievable.

    I would run far and fast away from this place very unorganized,short staffed and no communication. There was one nurse and one aide who were amazing Nick and Ashley. The rest of the staff was cold,distant and didn't seem to care. I would never allow my loved one to return to this facility. My wife was only here for a week for rehab and I couldn't imagine if she was here as a resident. Please go somewhere that cares !!

    Awful. I am only writing this review as someone who has had to deal with the RNs and other caregivers regarding patients that are in both our care and Grand Prairie's care. I personally had an encounter with a caregiver, whose name is Carmen. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. After my encounter with Carmen, the charge nurse with me also spoke to Carmen and had a similar experience. She asked to speak with the Supervisor at Grand Prairie. Things were resolved after that. But I felt the need to write this review to caution people who are looking here for a loved one. I have heard nothing but complaints about Grand Prairie from patients. Be cautious.

    Great place to work and live. I have friends who are nurses their and they love the place. Always clean and everyone looks happy. My work takes me in and out of many nursing homes and this place keeps getting better on each visit. Check it out for yourself.

    Please do not let your loved ones go here! Such lack of attention and care....concerns brought up by family get brushed off and unanswered. So understaffed that call buttons pressed by residents remain unattended for 30 mins plus. I have seen urine containers left completely filled and multiples sitting on the same table that food gets put on. This place is dirty - unkept-and flat out disgusting. Look elsewhere for an assisted living facility....this one is a dump!
