    The Lutheran Home is one of the rare organizations that understand the importance of continuum of care. There are multiple services available which allow seniors to age in place. Additionally, there is a fantastic Child Day Care facility which brings meaningful intergenerational activities each day. Being able to witness the power of play between two generations is quite amazing. I couldn't recommend a better facility.

    I am an employee of the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place. As a new employee in the health care setting, I have come to know a few aspects (care, support, services, food, social events, etc.) of being an excellent long-term care facility. Here, it's all really about our residents and then our employees. We take such great pride in providing the utmost care to our residents. I would not hesitate to place a loved one here at the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place.

    There is no intergenerational programming like the Lutheran Home. Five days a week of Childcare partnering with Memory Care, Adult Day, and Skilled Nursing, co-mingling in events of movies, music entertainment and art - you can't put a price tag on this kind of meaningful engagement and personal growth for a loved one.

    My mother was at Lutheran Home after a bad fall and hospitalization. I can't say enough about how fantastic her care was. The staff was great and the food was much better than other facilities she stayed in. The rehab center is getting a little shabby and, yes, they have shared bathrooms but, all in all, it was a positive experience and I highly recommend them.
