    Staff is kind and caring, from the main office and medical staff to maintenance. My dad has been here since December and only issues are they seem like they could use more caregiver staff and the rooms are kind of cramped.

    As someone who has worked here, I can tell you first hand that it is the last place you would ever want to place a loved one. They are so understaffed that it is mind boggling that they have even maintained any type of accreditation. They have absolutely no skilled nurses, and a staff of all LPN's. While LPN's are fantastic care providers, they are not able to provide the same level of assessment and treatment as a Registered Nurse. They have to use a nurse staffing agency in order to fill the RN role, and they provide those nurses with absolutely no training before throwing them out on to the floor and being told to provide patient care. Their focus is not on quality patient care. The administration and nursing staff is purely concerned with doing the bare minimum to get by, and as a result the patient's end up neglected. To anyone considering this as a company to work for, I can only give you my most diligent warning to steer clear. There is a reason that they are understaffed. If you are considering it for your family member, I highly recommend the John Manchin Senior Living Center in Farmington, Maplewood in Bridgeport, or Mapleshire in Morgantown as superior alternatives.
