I just think thst since this is probably the last place your loved one is going to ever live, that maybe just a little bit more compassion & kindness could be shown...to the family & also to the patient...

My brother was sent there from. LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He had a severe infection in left foot and Dr's were trying to save his toes. Staff assured LDS Case Manager they knew how to use and maintain a wound vacation. Turns out when he arrived they did not even have one and when finally got it 3 days after his admission, the staff could not get it to work. These people out and out lies. They had no clue what they were doing. My brother spent 25 days in there facility and when discharged we were lied to again. Long story short after being sent home without the wound vacation, my brother went to DR'S appointment and was immediately sent back to hospital for more surgery. I would not send my animals to this place for care, much less my loved ines. Be warned, they do not know how to tell the truth about anything.

The nurses seem overwhelmed!!!!! If you address a concern with the nurse admin you are likely to be ignored so, you will need to be persistent. Most staff are caring but if your parent needs oxygen and can walk you should expect them to be in a wheel chair due to the homes lack of accommodations. I spent the past five days hoping the care was better. Our dad has also sat in his wet pants all day. I will change my rating if the care gets better.

I work here. Staff are mostly nice. Rooms are clean, and we provide a home enviroment as well as a good enviroment to a quick recovery.

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
